Fees
Fees are in accordance with Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA) recommendations as of January 2019, based on a 50 minute session:

| Group therapy | $110 per person/session |
| Legal/forensic assessment | $350 |
| Legal/forensic consultation and research | $350 |
| Expert witness testimony half day | $1400 |
| Expert witness testimony full day | $2800 |
* Telephone consultations, letters, emails, form completion, and therapy beyond the 50 minute session are billed in 10 minute increments at the rate of the service being provided.
Cancellation Policy
Twenty-four (24) hours notice by phone or email is required for cancellation and should be reserved for emergency situations only. Regular fees apply for missed appointments and will need to be paid prior to the next scheduled session. As required by law, receipts will indicate payment for a missed appointment in these circumstances.
Payment Methods
Major credit cards, etransfer, cheque, or cash is accepted at time of service and detailed receipts will be emailed to you regularly for tax and insurance purposes. Cheques are payable to Lex Psychology Corporation.
Health Insurance Providers
Psychological services are not provided by Alberta Health Care Insurance. However, fees for individual psychological services are tax deductible and typically covered to varying degrees by most health insurance companies and employee benefit programs. You are encouraged to check with your employee health benefits provider for this coverage.
